Different Problems...
« on: November 10, 2007, 05:54:14 pm »
hello

here are the problems...

in my /etc/apt/sources.list  (EABI), i put this link :
deb http://ftp.gnuab.org/debian sid main

but... it nevers upgrade packages (seems freeze)... so i wonder if there is another
debian-sid-EABI which is "in action"... in order to be able to install packages such as
epiphany-browser or else, because in my feed, there is loots of "packages non installable"
the problem come too with package locales (and so many others...) but tihs one is primordial !

then, i got a mplayer-kdrive problem :
i re-encode video (bitrate 150, Width 320) in order to play it smoothly on my Z.
but : mplayer -zoom  --> video lag  (even with -framedrop....)
do you know better solutuons ?
overclocking would be one ? if yes, how do you do it on debian EABI ?

and i wish my Zaurus was a router (it can get wifi, my other pc can't). there is iptables which is
installed... do you know if kernel-yonggun or another is planning to add
"xtables-netfilter-iptables" in their modules ?

you should use this sources.list :

Code: [Select]
deb http://ftp.easynet.be/ftp/gnuab/debian sid main
deb http://ftp.easynet.be/ftp/gnuab/debian unreleased main

#oesf packages
deb http://matrixmen.free.fr/zaurus/debian sid main contrib non-free

then apt-get update

my apt-get problem was clearly that i missed the "unreleased" feed. thx

i found, for mplayer, the " -vo sdl" option.. that helps

last thing : iptables... i hope there will be modules... !!!
