Not Quite Getting It -lol-
« on: December 13, 2007, 08:31:40 pm »
I have something amis in my network configuration; this is the scenario.

I have the Z and Ubuntu box linked, the Z is very happy.  It can connect to the net, ping the ubuntu machine etc ... BUT the ubuntu machine gets host unreachable when I try to ping the Z or anything else regarding the Z.  I have things setup as I posted earlier in the forums, here.

Not a crippling issue just would like to SSH into the Z sometimes

Huh.  Works for me.  Sometimes it has trouble (using usb connection) seeing the outside world, but the desktop can certainly see the Z and conversely.  Check your config files carefully, including the IP addresses.

Maybe that update changed your /etc/network/interfaces file, though it shouldn't.  what does it say?
