Eye-fi Components Identified
« on: March 18, 2008, 10:23:02 am »
IkonTools have cracked open the casing on an Eye-Fi and identified the components.  The Eye-Fi is an SD combo card that contains 2GB of flash and and WiFi adapter all in the size of a standard SD Card (which would be flush mount in our Zs)     Hopeful one of the wonder genius programmers that hang out here can hack up some drivers for our lovely Zs.

In case their site goes down again (I had trouble reaching it earlier)  here are the details.  For some reason the post controls are disabled for me so I can't attach a pic.  **SORTED OUT*** - Don't use the OESF Default theme; it's busted.

Looks like someone is already working on this for generic Linux.

The source is here:  http://sr71.net/projects/eyefi/

Any compilers want try and see if they can make something with this?
