I have a problem with opieftp and a couple of oter applications: when i
try to start them, all I get is a window saying \"could not locate
application: opieftp\" Seems to me that /mnt/card/opt/QtPalmtop/opieftp
is a symlink to ./quicklaunch, which doesn\'t exist. So i understand the
error, but what can i do ?

Relink opieftp to /opt/QtPalmtop/bin/quicklauncher

Thank you. That helped me a step further. Now, i can start opieplayer2,
but oxygen and opieftp still won\'t run, and opieplayer2 won\'t play my
mp3. I click on the file in the audio-tab, click on play, the skin
(default) is loaded, and I\'m back to the tab view.

Any idea where i might get that oss lib from ?

opieplayer2 doesn\'t play audio in OZ 3.3.5. This is a known errata which has been corrected in OZ 3.3.6-pre1

so you would recommend updating to OZ 3.3.6-pre1 ? Is there a way to do that without flashing my Zaurus ?
Or should i download a initrd and zimage from http://www.openzaurus.org/official/experim...860/3.3.6-pre1/ and use the ipk directory there as the only feed ?

OZ 3.3.6-pre1 is compiled with gcc3, so the only chance is completely flashing, because you can\'t mix gcc2 and gcc3 applications. Then again, you\'re not compatible to other feeds, so you have to decide.

Ok, last night i installed OZ 3.3.6-pre1, an this morning 3.3.5 again. The problem was : a hell lot of segfaults (during a mv, a dd, a lot of graphical applications, the package installer, ...) a extremely bad touchpad example :

I have a C700, and handwriting / drawing works fine under 3.3.5, just no opieplayer and no oxygen :-(
