Can someone post the exact dimensions of the SL-6000 screen?  I ask b/c nowhere do I see screen protectors offered for the 6K, but I do see them offered for the Toshiba e805, whose four-inch VGA screen is 82.3 mm x 61.7 mm.

I could be wrong, but I thought the 6000 has the same 4\" screen as the toshiba you mentioned.  Then again, I don\'t have one so I can\'t measure it to be certain.

With my meter stick measurements, the numbers for the Toshiba screen are accurate for the SL-6000, too...

I just decided to order the 6000L from Amazon.  I\'d like to have a screen protector ready to go when it arrives next week.  Recommendations?

Word on the street (and in the other thread in the HW forum) is that the screen is the same size/shape as the Toshiba e805.  (I don\'t know of any SP specifically for the 6K.)

The 6000 does come with one screen protector, so you\'ll have a little breathing (scratching) time..

My SL-6000L did not come with any screen protector.   I feel deprived.

Thanks for the responses.  I decided to place an order for some BoxWave ClearTouch protectors for the e805.  They got great reviews from several websites.  I guess I\'ll find out if they really fit.

Mine (ordered from Amazon) came with one screen protector. This is a flip style hard clear plastic \"lid\" that attaches to an indentical clear hard plastic frame that slips over the top of the 6000. There are tracks in the side of the 6000 for the frame to slide into when attaching it.

Also what might be interesting, the box the 6000 came in (from amazon) is very clearly not a retail/store shelf type box. It\'s plain brown cardboard, with plue printing of purely informational identifying text. No pictures or any flashyness. Like an OEM type box rather than retail.

Those of you who didn\'t get the screen protector, what did your 6k come in? I\'m wondering if there are  two separate packaging/distribution chennels the 6000 may be selling through.

It\'s also possible that what I call a screen protector isn\'t the same thing *you* call a screen protector.

I think we\'re talking about different things.  The \"standard\" meaning of screen protector is a thin transparent sheet that sticks directly to the PDA screen, and protects it from dust and scratches.
