Toyed at one point some years ago about getting a nanonote....but never did....
Meanwhile, since my last post above, I did get a 3100 with weeXpc on it and then couldn't resist when I had the chance to get a 3200....
So, now I have 2 Z's !........
Been playing around with OpenBSD as well as Ubuntu on the 3200.....neither one is perfect on the Z, but very cool to see them both on it.....
And like you, apink, still have my Pandora (1 GHz model...)....and it works well and nice to have built-in wifi, 2 SD slots, and larger display. However, the Z has nicer keys on keyboard and the hardware quality is topnotch on the Z....on other hand, as you say, Pandora has very active community since it is open source.....
Just wish that Sharp was still making the clamshell Z's....but with built-in wifi and a bit larger display...similar to the Netwalker, but better.......
Oh well.............
