Vibrating physical keyboard
« on: January 29, 2020, 09:18:55 am »
One thing I kind of noticed immediately with my Cosmo: Whenever I type something on the physical keyboard, the whole device vibrates. Is there some way to turn this haptic feedback OFF for physical keypresses?

Running firmware V15 (since cannot update to newer one, apparently), if that makes any difference.

I don't mind the feedback for touchscreen.

You should be able to (i've done it)

Try:

Settings -> Sound -> Advanced -> Touch vibration

Actually, that was the place I was looking and and couldn't find the setting. Turned out it's under "Planet keyboard" app, not part of the settings. Thanks.

Thanks, that's good to know too! I did it originally on day one so it was a quick lookup there..

It can also be found under Settings>System>Languages & Input>Virtual Keyboard>Planet Keyboard>Preferences

The vibration setting here (somewhat confusingly) works for both physical and on-screen keyboards
