Manual Firmware Installation Files from Planet

From IndieGoGo Daniel Mader reports this response from Planet Support:

Customer Support 1 (Planet Computers) Jun 26, 2020, 4:39 PM GMT+1 Dear Daniel, I'm actually not sure what happened here exactly, but I would like to rule out a possible hardware failure by asking you to perform a manual installation of the v22 firmware. You can install the latest v22 firmware by using this manual installation (http://support.planetcom.co.uk/index.php/Cosmo_Android_Firmware_Manual_Installation).

Link gives V19 and V22 downloads for manual installation.

The downloads verify successfully against the MD5 checksums given, but I haven't tried installing from them yet.

Edited to correct link (thanks @ehem)

This is valuable information, but got corrupted in the process of you posting it.  I suspect you want this link: https://support.planetcom.co.uk/index.php/C...al_Installation

I've had intermittent https issues on 4G with v20 and v22, ref.:
 [ Invalid Attachment ]

I also had intermittent locking of the screen during active use.

So i have just carried out a manual installation of v22, over the v22 from over-the-air, and hopefully that resolves those two issues.

(I took a backup beforehand, but lost no user data on the device from the upgrade.)

Nah, seems my APN setup was wrong

Let's hope for resolution of the intermittent locking issue then…

Thank you so much for this!!!

Since linux support will probably never be done (no, linux support is not booting and then most of hardware doesnt work - camera, calls, bluetooth, sms, mobile networking), even less sailfish, I need to mod my Cosmo, to remove google play  (for last 10+ years I dont use any phone that has google spyware on it so after months of having cosmo, I never used it as a phone, firewall with google domains blocked helps but I wont plug in my sim card untill I get rid of it) and other bloatware and patch the android for signature spoofing to be able to use microg.

This link is not within menu, and I was struggling with modding live os. Now it is going to be much easyer!

Thaaaaaank you very much!!!
