Lotus Notes Sync Solution - Free and Easy

I have a 5600 3.x rom, and I\'ve been looking for a way to sync with Lotus Notes, as NotesSync does not support the 5600 natively yet.

The link below is a FREE Lotus Notes connector for Outlook 2002 and 2003 directly from Microsoft. It claims to allow you to access your Lotus Notes Email,Contact,Calender,Todo directly from Outlook.
It was released on 4/12/04 - I don\'t believe anyone has posted it here before.

If it works as well as it claims, it should allow the native Sharp Intellisync software to sync directly from Outlook to any Zaurus model, including the c-series.

I don\'t have a Lotus notes server to sync with, but I am moving to a new company with a Notes server in the next few weeks.

I installed the connector and can use my Notes (6.5 server) mailbox in Outlook almost seamlessly, very impressive. Unfortunately it requires Outlook XP or 2003- I\'ve tried both and can\'t get Intellisync to talk to either. After a complete uninstall and reinstall of Office and Zaurus Intellisync, it just crashes repeatedly when I try and configure the sync between the Z and Outlook. Shame, because I would dearly love to be able to sync my 5600 calendar with Notes.

Well I think i found a solution
I have a treo 600 and a C750, and I synchronise my treo 600 I use intellisync for palm (version v5.00.02) to synchronise it with lotus notes.

Today I\'ve installed the zaurus software on the same box, and in intellisync for zaurus i now have the option to synchronise with lotus notes (I think it uses the connector from the palm version), I\'ve selected and It works!!!!!!

I have successfully synchronised lotus notes with my c750 (mail, tasks, contacts, todos and calendar).

I think that you need  intellisync for palm with the lotus notes connector, a palm desktop (to be able to install intellisync for palm) and the zaurus software for windows...

Hi there, this sounds very interesting- I have read that some Zaurus users were trying to hack the Palm version of Intellisync so they could use the Notes connector with the Zaurus version. Is there any way you can confirm exactly the installation steps you went through, and the versions of the software used?

If it works this could make a few users (myself included) very happy

This works! Just uninstall the Z software and any versions of Intellisync, then install Intellisync 5.00.02, then the Z software (choose Intellisync and not Qtopia desktop) and voila, you should have intellisync connectors for Notes 4 and 5.
