Utilities applications with the Zaurus
« on: November 18, 2003, 07:55:54 am »
Again another question. I am evaluating the posibility of adquiring 50 PDAs for a customer and we are doubting about  iPAQ with Pocket PC 2003 and Zaurus with LINUX. We must evaluate the capabilities of both of connection (GSM/GPRS-WiFi-Bluetooth...), the IDE\'s, ... and the software installed in the default distribution. So I would like to know what utilities do come with the default distribution.

Thank you.

May I suggest you click the \"Unofficial Zaurus FAQ\" as it will hopefully answer your question.

Out of the box the Z (aka the Zaurus) supports quite a few radio based connection cards, and several more with user-written drivers and applications. The person who maintains this website keeps a list of all cards that have been tested with the Zaurus: http://zaurus.knightfire.com/
