Does anyone know if the Zonet ZCF1100 Wifi CF card is compatible with the SL-5500 and OZ? Or how to make it compatible? My Z just says its \"unsupported card\"

I am using this card on my c760 with Cacko 1.21b. Assuming you are using a Sharp based ROM, the procedure should be the same.

Open /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.conf in your favourite text editor and add the following:

card "Zonet ZCF1100"
manfid 0x000b, 0x7100
bind "prism_cs"

Then open a console and type /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart

Your card should be detected, assuming you have it plugged in.

Thank you for the info,
I added the same lines to
my wlan-ng.conf and now it is working.

I have an SL-C860 with Cacko 1.21b
Now i'm using in my firm with wep128b protection
and is working very well

The original request was about OZ, though.

This card can be enabled in OpenZaurus 3.2 by adding the following clause to /etc/pcmcia/hostap_cs.conf

card "Zonet ZCF1100"
manfid 0x000b, 0x7100
bind "hostap_cs"

Then I guess you need to restart pcmcia as described in my original post.

Which Cacko ROM have you installed? All the wireless stuff is there already with 1.21b

i have installed cacko 1.21 and updated to 1.21b

i have add

card "Zonet ZCF1100"
manfid 0x000b, 0x7100
bind "hostap_cs"

to wlan_cs.conf
end type /etc/rc.d/init.d/pcmcia restart

but nothing happend...i have a c860 and zonet cf 1100

help me!

Read my first post, regarding Sharp based ROMs. The lines you need to add to wlan-ng.conf are:

card "Zonet ZCF1100"
manfid 0x000b, 0x7100
bind "prism_cs"

I think it's

bind "prism2_cs"

and not

bind "prism_cs"
