Whats your thought on performance?  W/O an FPU (XScale of course), I would think OpenGL may be a bit on the slow side.  Your thoughts?

http://www.cacko.biz/~sash/feed/re/softgl-...l-0.4.1-src.zip

they use fixed point arith.
and have good performance...

there also avi from their site:

Performance may not be that bad...

AFAIK rendering is always the biggest drag and we\'re talking about a rather small display (except the snobs with 760/860s  )

Wish I had the skills to work on this.

OpenGL on a zaurus? Damn I need a kleenex!

I think this is a good project, it\'s secretly been my desire to port Half-Life (YES) to the Zaurus C7x0 series (I don\'t think the CPU on the 5x00 is powerful enough, is that snobby enough for you zenyatta?). I know it\'ll be slow but so long as it\'s fast enough to display the game at about 10 FPS and capable of multiplay I\'m happy  (and of course it\'ll need a huge SD card, load times are going to be a right bitch)

Well, if you replaced the Half-Life characters with Doom-style cardboard cutouts the polygon count would definitely go down

If it was my pick I\'d love to have Unreal on the Z... the mood of that game is yet to be matched IMHO.
