Well, I am not doing well. Music Player and Media Player both will play ogg files. Neither will recognize .m3u playlists. Kino2 will not even play ogg files. It can see them, but won't play them. I installed the vorbis plug-in for mplayer thinking that might fix Kino2, but no joy. So, I tried to install a non-emasculated version of Kino2 with no improvement. So, I uninstalled it and in the process it removed the Kino2 icon and the music note from the Music tab.
I guess that I don't understand the thought process behind having multiple media players installed and still not supporting .m3u playlists. I can sort of understand not supporting ogm as it is not widely used, but it would seem to make more sense to have a single, full-featured media player than multiple ones that still lack some basic support.
I am going to research some other ROMs. If I don't find anything better, I will reflash and reinstall Cacko. I suppose that I will reencode and use an avi container and see how that works.
