Default LCD Phase & COM ADJ values?
« on: December 12, 2003, 08:40:31 pm »
I have a confession, when I first got my Zaurus C760 I played around with the Diag Menu... (Heh are you telling me you didn\'t?)

When I did this I messed up the COM ADJ and LCD Phase values by pressing the \"-5 UPDATE\" on-screen button not realising it was updating / storing the value. I was stupid not to heed warnings about this menu having the ability to fsck up one\'s pride, but heh you don\'t learn anything without experimenting huh?

When I had Qtopia on my Cxx0 I was able to roughly get the settings back to what appeared normal, but now I use the X11 ROM it\'s more noticable that there is still significant \"ghosting\" on my C760\'s LCD (especially noticable when flashing the X11 ROM in the text-based menu system). I have tried tweaking the values slightly to see if I could get a better \"reception\" (teehee) but my luck has run out as of late.

My question is this, does anyone know the default/stock values for these 2 settings? I would like my C760\'s screen to be as clear as possible.

Just posting this before I go to bed, offroadgeek was kind enough to help me on IRC with the values which are as follows:
