Have you tried vnc yet?  If not, get TightVNC for XP and run a vnc client on the Z.  I was able to control my Macs like this when I had OZ and could actually use my wifi card.

When I used the Sharp ROM, I was able to use keypebble on my Z and TightVNC on my Win XP Home/Pro machines and it worked like a champ. I am currently running Cacko and I can't seem to install a version of keypebble that will connect to TightVNC. Others are reporting success with RealVNC. Good luck.

Remote desktop works fine with OZ, I think I also had it running with Cacko for a while.

There are a couple of threads out there explaining which packages to use, etc. try a search for 'remote desktop' or for 'qtrdesktop', something like that.

Also make sure that you've told XP to allow remote connections (Control Panel > System > Remote connections?)

Sorry I took so long to respond to your guys' comments which really helped me and I got VNC and keypebble going but the colour and graphics are really ugly and I can't see pictures well and videos... Is there any way to get better colour or should I use a different program? If qtrdesktop has good graphics then I'm gonna be working hard trying to figure out how to get it going but is there any  way?

I have 860 Japanes std rom, and running qtrdesktop to my XP pro wirelessly full screen 604x480 graphics are extemely good - very sharp!
Some questions you have already probably tried.,..
1.) Are you allowing remote desktop connections on your XP machine
2.) Are you connecting via LAN or WAN - if WAN, is your firewall allowing traffic over the 2 ports - 80 and one other I can't remember offhand.

Give us more info on your problem/symptoms, and might be able to help..
Is qtrdesktop installed on your 860 OK?  You could try connecting to MY XP pro box over the Internet - private email me if you would like to try and I'll give you the IP address..  That might narrow down the problem to a handheld or PC config trouble.

Finally I got the qtrdesktop going. But alas they both have bad quality on colour... qtrdesktop is very sharp and faster than keypebble and I also don't like the way keypebble controls the computer so ya I'm sticking with qtrdesktop.

BUT they both have poor colours I think they're 8-bit. Is there any way of changing qtrdesktop to make it at least 16 bit? the graphics are usable but still not good at all................ HELP! Thanks!

Rikiya  P.S. Very thankful to everyone that has helped me over the nearly 8 months of zaurusing.

Can rdesktop do a connection the other way - control the Zaurus from my Windows XP machine (like VNC server on Zaurus and client on Windows does) ?

QTRDESKTOP seems only to tbe the client to control Windows XP machine, I wanted the other way connectivity wich is also faster then VNC.
