My 6000 does the strangest thing with wifi and my home access point.
If it's already been connected to the AP when I turn it on or off (standby mode) it retains its connection and can be used normally. If I connect it to a different network or turn off wifi then it wont redetect the connection (also I use static ips) except if my ibook is also connected to the AP.
Let me explain more, I have a linux box connected to the DSL which serves as a router. The AP is connected to the linux box. My ibook can connect easily to the AP and get internet etc no problems. If I am trying to connect to the AP with the Z it comes up detects a signal and then says no connection detected and drops the connection. If I first connect my ibook (walk across the room and open it up) then my Z will connect easily to the AP and hold the connection, then I can close the ibook and use the Z normally. And as long as I dont change the network settings (change networks, or turn off wifi) it will connect and stay connected, even if I put it into standby, regardless of whether the ibook is connected or not, it just needs the book for that initial connection.
Its all quite strange and I dont seem to have the same problem connecting to other AP's that may or may not have computers connected to them (I dont know).
Thats my wifi bug anyway.
