kde pim software clarification
« on: September 28, 2004, 11:52:22 am »
Hi,

I've been using the 1.76 version of the ko/pi software, just the calender and to-do part of it for a while and would really like to move up to one of the later versions as the new improvements sound really great.

However, I am a bit confused, despite reading the threads on the different versions, and the info on the sourceforge site (sorry for being dense), as to which of the packages I need to install in order to get it to work.

In other words, if I just want the calender/to-do part of the suite, and don't need the address book part, or the email, or the mobile phone stuff, which of the packages do I need to install?

Thanks

Jo

The kdemicrolibs, kalarms and korganizer are definitely what you need.  the pim_TAB thing is only if you have a pim tab or PIM tab.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens
