I'm a little dense, but what exactly needs to be done to point to fluxbox in .xinitrc?

Comment out the line that runs openbox and replace with one that runs fluxbox instead.

Is there a screenshot of this?  This is so cool.  I'm a gentoo-fluxbox user and these new wms are making me drool.  I'm waiting for the rest of the kde pim pi to be ported before I can even think of going pdaxrom.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

Fluxbox rocks... I just finished compiling vdesk and torsmo, and the look is awesome. I will post a screenshot when my battery is fully charged again.

There is only 1 problem: the CTRL-key doesn't work good, I have to press both SHIFT and CTRL to make the CTRL key work. Any idea?

Thanks for Fluxbox. I am partial to its approach of generating a menu where you point when you need it rather than always losing screen space to a panel. It's working well. The generate-menu feature finds a lot of apps and saves time though most will want more customization.

To try it out without editing .xinitrc, you can simply run startx with the path to fluxbox as an option:

Code: [Select]
startx /usr/local/bin/fluxbox

The japanese key between Fn and Space, closer to Space, works as the Control key for me, but I haven't tried it in many applications yet.

I've been pimpin' my desktop in my free time, but i've not tried fluxbox

(sorry for my poor english )

Edit:
i forgot: the taskbar shown in your screenshot is really cute!  i use xfce's taskbar, but it's kinnda ugly.
