I'm sorry about that. Many of us are dealing with similar life issues. Thanks very much for all your work and efforts, they have been very helpful, especially for people with little knowledge, like me.

Greets, and good luck in every task.

5x00 General discussions / Virtual Keyboard On Collie
« on: July 14, 2008, 07:42:40 am »
I haven't Lynx installed, but I've tried both Terminal and Qkonsole loading mutt.

Ctrl-C , using de virtual Keyboard, works for Qkonsole, but it doesn't work in Terminal.

That's a very strange behaviour. But I don't know the reason.

Go for the C-3200, and while you are learning and choicing your main distro, the regular Sharp Rom is a great, and stable, starting point.

Hi, Ctrl-c works for me on the virtual keyboard, but without using the serial connection.

Sharp ROMs / Qmusician
« on: July 14, 2008, 04:07:12 am »
Hi I wonder if anybody has a working version of the Qmusician, aka Tuner, application. I want to install it on my C-3200 with regular Sharp Rom.

After downloading from different sources, killefiz, another feeds, etc, I've found that Ipkg complains, even not showing the soft as installable.

Viewing the file through a text editor it's showed as a debian application  ?

I don't know what can I do.

Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I stay tunned and using my collie everyday. I'm also a Sharp user, C3200, the rom works well for my needs, and very stable.
So there's some sort of life out there.

Debian / Debian On C3xxx (merged Topics)
« on: April 18, 2008, 02:27:41 pm »
@Zdevil: I've just moved and symlink some home and /home/QtPalmtop directories, and also linked in hd the /hdx/opt/QtPalmtop and /hdx/opt/Qtopia, which are created when installing some applications, to /hdx/home/QtPalmtop.

In this way I free some memory, and then I use Meanies xipk way that relinks almost everything automatically. The system goes well, but some few apps complains after being installed with xipk.

I haven't tried to install OpenBSD on SD, I don't know if it works. And now, after having troubles with partition table, I got "closed"_BSD. :-)

Hi Zdevil, thanks for your answer and explanations
.
I actually have Sharp on NAND, with home on hdd5, and OpenBSD in hdd3.
I'll keep reading the news in order to install, whenever possible, Debian on SD first.

I haven't much time now, and I don't want to risk my accurate whole system.

So, I'll try to stay tuned.

Thanks for all your efforts in your search for the right solution.

Debian / [new] Kernel 2.6.24.4 With Cpufreq
« on: March 25, 2008, 01:25:20 pm »
Hi, my microdive has 7 partitions. 3 primary hda1,hda2,hda3, the 4th extended -hda4-, and three more logical, hda5 -vfat-, hda6 -ext2-, hda7 -swap-.
No one has changed to hdb. all the partitions were created with de Sharp rom fdisk app.

Do you mean that Debian sees the extended partition as hdb?

Sorry if this is a silly qüestion?
