I have successfully mounted back the micro drive from cacko. And I can find the wallpaper back from hdd3, but for some reason I can see it but can't apply it as wallpaper.

Is there some kind of access right issue? Can somebody help?

did you guys lose the wallpaper and hard drive mount in cacko after starting it from the multi boot kernel?

My cacko is like that and the wallpaper and mount are gone...

Do I need to download the source code and compile it for zubuntu?

no luck on sound .... i went into alsamixer, and flip everything that listed as mm to the opposite setting.

A restart won't help either...  help...... :-(

Thanks same, finally I can get my 3200 wifi on with Zubuntu.

However, I notice it can't get online if the ssid is hidden (not broadcast)...

Anyway, does anyone ever able to get sound on 3100 or 3200?

anyone has ever tried to use Planex GW-CF11H ( a prism3 card) on Zubuntu?

Do I need any specific drivers and settings on my C3200?

I'm a newbie and any help would be great :-)

I'm using the Planex GW-CF11H card, I think mine is a prism3 chip card instead of prism2.

I've installed hostap, put in the same .hex files as mention in this thread and add the same wlan0 information under /etc/network/interfaces

when I manually bring up wlan0 on command line and set the ESSID, my card change from blinking light to solid light, so I assume it is connected to the router, but then I still couldn't get on the internet. Currently there is no encryption setting on my router, and i heart dhcp is not working under zubuntu yet.

May I know what I need to put for static ip address? or these drivers won't work with my card?
