Would the docs.zaurus.com section be something that you could also mirror?

all of the docs.zaurus.com stuff was essentially mirrored last october when I put the stuff in our wiki (zaurus how-to docs).  All of the files referenced in the docs.zaurus.com site are on the zug server, and I\'ve updated the wiki pages to point to the correct location.

OK, so the devnet board mirror isn\'t yet perfect.  I was trying to mirror  the site completely without Sharp\'s help.  With what we have now, we can at least browse the forums.  No searching yet.

Spencer put me in contact with a Sharp rep who seems willing to get me the site data, and hopefully the db as well.

I\'ll keep you all informed of my progress.

No, they\'re about to release the SL6000. Supposedly DevNet has only gone down because they\'re changing the hosting arrangements to make it cheaper to run.

I don\'t see any activity at DevNet and don\'t know if this has been posted by someone.

The hosts file on the DevNet server/DNS needs to change to the new IP address. Until Sharp sysadmin does that, modify your local hosts file.

In Windows add this to C:WINDOWSSYSTEM32DRIVERSetchosts
In unix or linux add to /etc/hosts

You will be able to login to Zaurus DevNet Forums.

Is this still working for everyone?  For some reason, I haven\'t been able to get to the DevNet Forums this weekend with that in my hosts file.  Prior to this weekend, it had been working fine.  Can anyone get there?

I posted on DevNet this morning.

Thanks - I guess it may be where I\'m connecting from, although I could swear that I\'ve reached DevNet from this connection before over the past week or two...  I\'ll try again from home tomorrow.

I won\'t mention it again.

Why is there no traffic on DevNet?

I think it\'s because Sharp temporarily shut down the devnet sites (without really doing so) without any notice to the community.  They also haven\'t said anything since the last outage in December and since Spencer left

This wasn\'t an accident on Sharps part, but a deliberate action.  We\'re all just disappointed.

It was a dumb joke.
Like it this site disappeared like DevNet, and I don\'t believe it would.  And I\'m sure you know if the site has a problem long before I would.  But I\'ll store it in my Zaurus, just in case.
