whoops, a bug from the times when cardfs was SD only.
Insert any SD card and select /media/cf as destination.

I have a couple of issues, one is that the suspend mode for a 64-0 collie image is still broken despite the claim it was fixed in this release. Also wireless seems to work fine with the standard oz rom but not for henteges with my linksys card.

Works perfectly fine here. Please make sure that the new kernel was really flashed.

CoreDump and everyone involved in the Hentges/C1000 release, thank you, thank you!
I hadn't touched my c1000 in weeks before this release.
How can I donate to you guys directly?

Kphone/pi installed a new tab that has a question mark in it, and i consistantly get 'error initalizing folder' and about a 10 second pause every so often since installing it. How can I move it to Applications and get rid of that folder? It wasn't under Launcher.

Also I read CoreDump's post about 'On' not doing anything, it appears to work for me? But i do get the non-existant VT ocassionally with a blinking cursor, and if I'm not networked I have to turn it entirely off. Is there a fix for this?

I'd also like to dualboot with pdaXrom, is that possible?

Thanks!

Sounds like a packaging bug to me. Check out /opt/QtPalmtop/apps to manually fix this.

Ah, the "On" button works to resume the device. Suspending however, does not work.
I'll fix the keymap to remove the "blinking cursor" problem.

In theory yes, but a lot of work is involved to do it. You'd need to extract pdaXrom's initrd.bin and copy all files into a folder. Then check if updater.sh does anything special after the flashing is complete (you'd need to decode it for that btw).

Once you have all the files, one could write a altboot plugin to pivot-root into the pdaxrom folder.
You wouldn't see a difference to a normal pdaXrom installation.

I'm getting a gzip error on the T3 cardfs release.
http://oz.hentges.net/releases/3.5.3/T3/co...pie1.2.0-r1.bin seems to be corrupt.

Thank you very much for this ROM !!!!

Unfortunately I have run into a problem. I initially tried out the "fast" kernel on a PXA250. It seemed to work OK, but I wanted to debug some wierdness with fbvncserver. So I tried to flash to the regular zImage, but now all I get is the splash screen and a blinking cursor. How do you just flash the kernel without having to re-flash the initrd.bin?

Thank you very much,

You follow the same procedure you would use to flash both, except only place the updater.sh and the kernel (zimage.bin) on your card.

Thank you very much CoreDump

I have been holding off on installing 3.5.3 for a while (the dreaded suspend-resume bug).

I was wondering if the 5600 Kernel you provide includes the suspend on rigtht arrow key fix as well. I am still getting right-arrow suspends on my poor poodle. If not, could you build one? I would like to test it, but I only have a dial-up at home and have not been brave enough to try and set up a full OE build system.

Thank you very much,

Okay, apologies for my confusion, but...

er, since I'm not sure how current the visible Hentges pages are, the posted "do_not_use" directory is now empty, I can't find the .md5 signatures, and the link to the OZ install guide isn't available...

Er, how do I install your latest version to my brand-new Akita?  I'm nervous about just searching the forums when I don't know what the latest installation procedure is...

The "do_not_use" directory only contains Release Candidates, stable releases can be found at [a href=\"http://hentges.net/misc/openzaurus/oz3.5.3-opie1.2.0.shtml]http://hentges.net/misc/openzaurus/oz3.5.3-opie1.2.0.shtml[/url].

And as there is no new (public) RC yet, the do_not_use folder is empty.
