I think my problem was pressing the circle around the "OK" button at the same time. Either way, I used the reset hole and i'm off and running with Cacko!

Two things that fix it for me:

1. click on the 'network' icon and connect from there
2. yank out the card then stick it back in

This is just for the card.  I have not had a problem with sysinfo-home/ problem.

Those are not fixes, they are work-arounds.  Thanks for the tips though.

why2jjj, so your 3100 shows the /home partition in sysinfo?  I dont understand why some people are having this problem but others are not.  Anyone have any clue?

Yes-sir-e-bob.  I see my /home partition nice and clear.

I don't know...freaky mount problem?

Ah, this clears things up !  Jon_J's thumbnail is what I was thinking, not what Xamindar was thinking.

huh...interesting.  I guess you need to stick to 'df -hk' on the linux command prompt for now for that info .

Now that we are all on the same page, I am wondering what the 'temporary storage' bar is supposed to represent?

Mine's the same as xamindar's
I wonder who, that has a C3100 & Cacko 1.23, actually has the /home info showing in the storage tab.
Also check this out. If you plug in a card while the storage tab is showing, the bar graphs go from 2 to 3 bars,
but what's really noticable, is the bars become very thin with 3 graphs showing.

It can be fixed if you had the latest source code for the sysinfo app. If maslovski posted his latest source code, for the sysinfo then it wouldn't take someone with a C3100 too long to adjust it and have the graphs showing the right disk.

you'd be better off, at the command line doing "cardctl eject N" then "cardctl insert N" (where N is the slot number as show by "cardctl status".

You could make simple shell scripts and create icons on QT desktop for them.

This would save a lot of wear and tear on your Z!

i noticed another problem with cacko on my 3100.

can others verify this?

the netmon applet doesnt show signal strength.  it never changes from blue no matter how weak the wifi signal is.  This is probably connected to my network settings applet not working either.

Can someone tell me which library file or executable is responsible for this so I can try swapping it with the original from the jp sharp rom and see if it can be fixed?

It's not sysinfo, it's Qtopia.  Sysinfo uses mounted storages reported by Qtopia classes.
