I don't "know", but I kind of doubt it.  I see anton less on the board these days and I'm guessing there are more pressing issues he must attend to.  Usually there would be a hotfix package that would come after a major release, but 1.23 seems to be the exception.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

So does this mean Cacko development is dead?
With the C3200 and maybe a newer model mentioned in another post (C3500)?
https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showt...ndpost&p=120145
I would think Cacko would still have updates.

cacko1.23 is an awesome package, and I apart from minor updates perhaps for drivers, I think, in a sense, it's "finished". Anton did a great job, and I am curious to know if he has some new Zaurus idea up his sleeve as it's bound to raise a lot of interest (perhaps teaming up with AlbertR to do a C1000W!)

I bought a C3000 for hardware experiments, such as RAM (and maybe internal flash) upgrade

Hi Anton,

I don't know if this has been addressed, but is the bug with the lowest brightness setting fixable?

Could be, I can't tell right now. In any case it will only be fixed in a ROM update or new version. What I'm currently working on is a port of existing ROM to C3000 "as it".

Hi Anton,
Any update on the port of Cacko 1.23 to the C3000?
Thanks,

But heart skipped a beat when I read this thread too!

ah well ... must say that its pretty good as it is ... and so far for me ... has no showstopper bugs.

Thanks Anton!
