That was what I tried (compiling on-board, though it migh have been minimo I tried to compile), but I might easily have made a simple error.

What do you think for newers x.org (prev xfree) ? I would like to have xkb extension, also few other settings like this (for example middle button scroll). However, it might be kernel-module dependent? If so, compiling would be hard ... also maybe the touchscreen will not work correctly?

Anyone who knows?

Fire fox compiles MUCH further now, but now this error comes up:

undefined reference to `_PrepareAndDispatch' collect2: ld returned 1 exit status

when dealing with xptcstubs_arm.cpp which looks like it's part of libxpcom_core.so.

Any ideas?

I need the driver for my USB ethernet dongle. There has been some discussion here before so I am not the only one that has one and needs the driver. It is a Davicom Semiconductor Inc DM9601 based device. The driver is available for download at:

That looks like my error. The only file I found was a patch in the attachments section. Is this what I want? What file do you speak of that I could use to replace the old one?

Ling: I'll see what I can do. My C750 needs a new flash, but I'll try to build bit with Beta 1. They (Beta 1 and pdaXii13 5.2) use the same kernel, right? If they don't, I don't know if I can help.

I think that pdaXii13 is based on beta3. I believe that some of the beta1 apps would work, but I don't know either.

I think that pdaXii13 is based on beta3. I believe that some of the beta1 apps would work, but I don't know either.

Beta3 has a differnet kernel version, but except for ipks like the SD driver which are especially written for Beta3, the Beta1 and 2 ROM/Distro's should be able to use many of meanie's rebuilds. Do a NAND backup before trying a bunch of them (just to be safe).

those are qte (qtopia) apps and won't compile on pdaXrom since pdaXrom uses X11, and even though QT3 is available in pdaXrom, it is not compatible with qte 1.1.x which is what SharpROM/Cacko is using...
