My order says the same thing. I don't think Amazon actually knows when someone ships it, they just put that there because by taking your payment and notifying the Seller that you paid, they have completed their part of the transaction. It is still up to the Seller to ship your item and I don't think they get a chance to modify the status of the order.

Mine says shipped on Dec 1, 2004.
Tha last e-mail i received from the seller was on Dec 2. He never mentioned that he has shipped. I think that this definitely is a scam.
