I've finally got my 760 up and running beta3, the only thing missing now is two 2gb sd card support. I've search the forums, but I'm having a hard time finding the ipk. Could somebody post the link for me?

Hey guys,

Been trying to find some feeds for c760 running beta1. Only one I can find is on
ftp://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/distri...us-7x0-860/feed

which is missing stuff I want like wifi-radar package. Anybody have a feed for beta1 with wifi-radar?

Debian / C1000 & Debian

Hey scottlfa,

I noticed you got debian/gnome working on your C1000. I’ve been thinking about trying to install debian on my C1000, but I wasn’t sure if it would be usage. Would you mind if I asked you a couple of questions, since you’ve got it going on a C1000.

What’s the speed like?
What kinds of apps can it run?
Can it run Firefox, and flash player as well?
Does it handle Gnumeric and Abiword?

Basically, is it worth changing to Debian OS?

I've decided at last to let go of my sl-c1000. It’s in good condition, only a little scratch near CF-port, other than that, it’s in fine order.

I’m selling it for $250 US, I’ll pay for shipping.
I’d prefer payment via paypal.

Here’s what you get in the deal:

Symbol Socket CF wireless card
Leather Case
USB Host Cable – Great for using mouse with PDA
2 gb SD-CARD
USB hub – Small usb hub I use when I want to hook usb memory stick and mouse at the same time.
Power charger cable
USB webcam – Pretty old webcam, but it’s the only one I’ve found that works with my pda.

I’ll have pictures of the pda up tonight.

Currently I’m running PDAXii13 5.4.9.

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Evolution Mail Client?

Hey guys,

I just found the linux equivalent of outlook, it's call Evolution. I really would like to setup this app on my sl-c1000 running pdaxii13. Has anybody installed this app on their zaurus???

If yes, what do I need and how do I do it? I noticed an ipk called evolution-data-server, but from what I can tell it's the backend to evolution.

Any advice would be appreciated,

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Rxvt Won't Initialize

I also had this problem often in the past.

IIRC mounting devpts manually helped.

mount -t devpts devpts /dev/pts
But I don't know why exactly this helped, and it also didn't always help.
Somehow the amount of available pseudo-ttys was exhausted, maybe becuase the pseudo-ttys didn't get released again after usage.

But this is all only a guess.
Does anyone have definitive information?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Rxvt Won't Initialize

Hey guys,

I just setup debian pocketworkstation on my zaurus running pdaxii13. Now whenever I run rxvt I get the follow error:

urxvt: can't initialize pseudo-tty, aborting.

Anybody know what the problem is???
