I would like to have polish special letters instead some umlauts that are available in standard pdaxii13. How can I change that?
[div align=\"right\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

edit /etc/X11/kb/userdefined.xmodmap and add your changes there...
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=163148\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]
I did that but it didn't work. So I edited spitz.xmodmap but I made a mistake. I need original one.

Btw. Maintenance mode in latest paxii13 does'nt work.

I have some Inodes at boot up that I can't get fscked by the mintenance menu (after reboot+OK).
[div align=\"right\"][a href=\"index.php?act=findpost&pid=163213\"][{POST_SNAPBACK}][/a][/div]

you can extract spitz.xmodmap from pdaXii13-custom.tgz or [a href=\"http://tyrannozaurus.com/feed/beta3/custom/keymap-spitz_0.0.7_armv5tel.ipk]http://tyrannozaurus.com/feed/beta3/custom....7_armv5tel.ipk[/url]

maintenance mode is only supposed to work on C3000
SL-C3000 - pdaXii13 build5.4.9 (based on pdaXrom beta3) / SL-C3100 - Sharp ROM 1.02 JP (heavily customised)

Ok, I did that. I still have a problem with polish letters. When I add some, the abiword doesn't show any or some menu appear instead.

I've done ipkg upgrade. Does it mean I've all patches and new versions of programs as in 5.4.7 or not? I'm not really sure.
I saw that it upgraded firefox. Is there a new version of it?

you should probably use meanie's upgrade package.
the info on upgrading is here: [a href=\"http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/akita/]http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/akita/[/url]

I'm doing that very thing right now

I want to change the 'Shortcut keys' from the "System --> Input Setup"menue for example Address=kopi. That did not work it's still the same although I restarted X as described.

Which key combination has i use for the 'Silkscreen' inside the 'Input Setup' menue?

Regards,

build 5.4.8 is available for testing.
this release comes with an updated kernel (still 2.4.20 but with extra features)
the sound should be better, battery monitoring should be better, and hostap support is improved, ie some wifi cards that previously were created as eth0 will now be wlan0 and scanning should work so wifi radar should work nicely now. in order to get wpa working, you need to install this package: hostap_driver_0.4.7_3_armv5tel.ipk

Hi Meanie, do  you have the upgrade file (pdaXii13-custom.tgz) available so I can upgrade from 5.4.7 to 5.4.8?

The link at:

[a href=\"http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/tmp/]http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/tmp/[/url]

for pdaXii13-custom.tgz doesn't actually link to the file (if it exists).

Cheers,

The link you quoted  was broken from 5.4.7 onwards.... not sure why.... but have fun with 5.4.8..... Note: I would guess that tarball doesn't upgrade the kernel which you might want to do to get the new sound stuff - it makes a HUGE difference to the sound quality (thanks eviLjazz!)

Hi

I can get the initrd.bin for 5.4.8 from here:
[a href=\"http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/akita/]http://www.tyrannozaurus.com/feed/pdaXii13/akita/[/url]

...which I guess will include the new kernel (which I've been using successfully on 5.4.7)

I'm pretty sure the kernel is in tools.tar, actually.

OK, np - I put tools.tar on my sd card too, so it's worked successfully.

Hi

Firstly, I would like to thank Meanie for the work he has done on his various projects and the time he puts in to make things as easy to install and configure as possible. I tried pdaxQTrom a few months ago on my SL-C3200 and then graduated a few weeks ago to pdaXii13 Version 5.4.6.

I'm just wondering what I need to download and install to upgrade to 5.4.8. I would like to fully upgrade my installation including the latest kernel.

I have looked at the links in this thread but cannot find the instructions to upgrade an existing installation.

Thanks for your help in advance
