OK, It looks like I may have messed something up and am I hoping someone can help me out here.
I went into the D+M menu to check for bad NAND blocks - after the test was done I went back to the menu page (using the cancel key to get there) and powered the unit off.
Now it will only power on to the D+M menu. Won't power on normally. Won't power on with the 'On' button held to try to reflash the ROM
Making a leap that somewhere stumbling through the menus I may have erased the NAND (although I didn't think I did) I went and downloaded NAND backups and restores.
I can't get any of them to work.
Trying the NAND update I get :
---Found Orders ---
Using the NAND Backup Restore instructions from Trisoft (and the files) and putting them in Backup_Files folder on the CF card I simply get :
NAND Restore from CF
file : SYSTC100.DBK
not exist file
Anyone have an idea it won't work ?
Am I missing a step beyond having the file eith on the root of the CF card (or in the Backup_Files directory), powering on to the D+M menu and going to the correct menu choice and letting it rip ?
Is this simply a signal that the files aren't viable ?
Anyone have a NAND backup or full backup for a C1000 they would be willing to email me ?
Thanks in advance for any help that might get my C1000 back and running.

Well I've found that I'm using my C1000 less and less as I am sitting at a desk more and more (and my eyes are getting worse and worse... )
So I've decided it's time to part with it.
C1000, Planex wifi, CompUSA usb ehternet, 2 AC adapters, all the port covers, spare screen protector and USB host cable. All in perfect shape. Screen is scratch free and no pixel problems. Currently flashed with Cacko.
*edit* Ooops. A price would be good, wouldn't it ?
I'm looking to get $385 - but I'm willing to deal.
Shipping inside the US would be $10 (UPS insured) outside the US at whatever USPS Priority Express & Insured would be. I can give you a quote if you'd like.
I can do PayPal without a problem, I'll take a money order as well.
If you have any questions - fire away. Thanks for looking.

I have a well taken care of (looks virtually new) C3000, Wifi card and USB Ethernet adapter for sale. Comes with a case, AC adapter, wifi card (Zoomax), CDs, card slot (SD & CF) covers. C3000 is flashed with pdaxii13 and works great.
I left it here for a while, so since that didn't work I've listed it here :
NOTE ; The Nokia 770 sold already. Thanks Da_Blitz !
Thanks for looking !

I just got a used C1000 with the EA BL-11 battery and the sharp EA-72 charger.
Plugging in the ac adapter causes the battery light to go on but then after about 10 minutes it sits and blinks.
The unit will not turn on with the battery in or with the battery in and the AC adapter plugged in.
If I take the battery out and plug it in the battery light flashes and the unit doesn't do anything.
Any ideas what might be wrong ?
Sorry for the ignorance - I couldn't find anything about this issue doing a search on the forum archives.

I don't know if there is still anyone around here who might be able to help, but I'm trying to find a copy of gnumeric to install on my IT2006 updated Nokia 770 tablet.
The one in the maemo download area has a dependency (libglade if I recall) and I cannot locate that library for the n770 anywhere.
If anyone has a link to the library, gnumeric built as a package or any idea where to start (short of a google search on gnumeric nokia 770, which does not turn up anything useful) - please tell me.
Sadly I'm not experienced with building/compiling packages so I'm at a loss here.
Thanks in advance.
