It's not sysinfo, it's Qtopia.  Sysinfo uses mounted storages reported by Qtopia classes.

Then can we get any explaination of what we can do to fix it?  Even a small one would help.

I have some problems with my planex gw-cf11x wireless CF card. Do you think all drivers are present in 1.23? When i put it off, i'm not able to start again before i remove it. I didn't have this problem with my buffalo card.

Any help?
Thanks

some drivers are missing in cacko.  My first understanding was that it included MORE drivers but I was wrong.  One of my wireless cards does not work with cacko but it does with japanese rom.

The problem you are having is a known problem.  There is no known fix for it yet but you can get around it by typing "cardctl reset" in a console.

Just upgraded my C760 to Cacko 1.23 to see what it was like before I buy a 3200, everything fine except the e-mail application insists on loading every time I switch on. Anyone know how to stop it loading as e-mail is about the only thing I don't have on my Z.

Also any guesses on when version 1.23 will work on the 3200.

Ok I am an idiot, been pressing the Mail key to turn my Zaurus on without actually looking at what key it was! Forgot that I had disabled the Mail key in version 1.22

All I need now is for Anton to give me a clue as to when a 3200 version of Cacko will be availble.

Question- when you create an appointment in the Cacko calendar, it creates a .vcs entry right?  Where is the .vcs information being stored?  What directory in the ROM is it being written to?

Thanks,

Jay

Thanks Anton although it does not help much, quite happy to continue donating for each new release, donating a C3200 is beyond my means.

Would it be possible to provide me with a version which includes the C3200 in the list of supported devices so I can test it?

Sharp's calendar (default in the cacko rom) uses their proprietary format stored under the dtm directory.  If you want vcs, then you want kde pim pi.

I thought it was using .vcs because if you try and do something with calendar like send a calendar appointment via IR port to your PC an 'event.vcs' file appears on your desktop (at least on a Windows PC).

I'm done with the KDE PIM Pi.  It was extremely difficult for me to do about anything with that suite, including sync'ing across IR port OR usb connection and unfortunately I'm stuck with Outlook at work.  I got intellisync to work.

New question:

Even though I got intellisync to work and the zaurus is sync'ing with Outlook now, I cannot do a simple telnet from Windows XP to my zaurus:

Microsoft Telnet> open
(to) 192.168.129.201
Connecting to 192.168.129.201...Could not open connection to the host, on port 23: Connect failed

Anyone have a guess on why this is failing and how I can correct this?  In 'PC Link' I have 'PC Link Setting' set, with hostname 'zaurus' with USB IP set to 192.168.129.201 and connection 'USB- TCP/IP (advanced)'?

Again I have a c3100 with the Cacko 1.23 ROM on it.

Thanks again

The telnet daemon is not enabled by default on the Sharp ROM, unless you have the image from TRIsoft where it is enabled. Cacko has SSHd enabled by default.
