I'm about ready to pick up my next Z and I'm wondering if anyone has used zMacSync with a Zaurus over bluetooth. Has anyone done bluetooth syncing to the mac using iSync/zMacSync?

I should add my second question. Can all this syncing be done over 802.11?

If it will sync over ssh, I can safely assume it uses keys? Is this thing command line based (sorry for my questions, but I don't have a mac yet)? I'd like to run it out of cron to do automatic syncing.

Hi, yes, it uses the ssh encryption - depending on the set-up. You can either use use password authentication or install a pair of keys on the Mac and the Zaurus (which needs some background knowledge on ssh). No, it is - in Mac tradition - not command line based. Just the internals use a command line based tool ssh. It provides an "autosync" mode where it tries to sync every 60 seconds as long as a connection persists. But: users have reported that this is not extremely stable and it seems to depend on the physical connection (USB or WLAN) quality.
