Man i didnt want it to come to this. My beloved zaurus showed more signs of case structure integrety compromised. So i decided to sell the unit as is.
Everything works on it. There is no pixle damage, no screen scratches, all keys work, everything works on it. The battery is 2 months new! i have all the accessories. so why am i giving up this hardware? because i am going to update to a zaurus c1000 and i want my unit to go to a good home. I also have pretec wifi, ambicom with bluez that works, 1gb cf card, 1gb sd card almost all the kompany software tons of games for it from eon, you name it...has it all. i used this device to.... play over 2000 nintendo games stored on sd play most eon games watch movies full length ftp via bluetooth and cellphone, netbrowsing, you name it. a ipod.....it felt like one though lecture class recording... man...it was everything. PIM applications, medical encyclopedia, wikki encyclopedia, medical dictionary, thesaurus, dictionary...shiet..what else.. i put this device to almost its limits in terms of an average user. make an offer for a zaurus 100 percent in working condition. |

It's a shame I just blew all my spare money on a 5500 on Ebay to replace the one that was stolen

I'm a newbie who is Zaurus-less. My (current) main goal in life is to have a device which will tie into my wireless network at home and my SBC DSL line, surf the web, and send and receive e-mail. I am assuming that a SL-5500 will do all that.
Should I stick with my Mac and PC? I have messed with Redhat, and a few other distros on PC's, but I'm still a Linux newbie. So, did you sell it? And, just what is a 5500 worth? Thanks. |

no. actually i decided to keep it and i created a theme for it.
go here and click on the pda icon and see my new theme http://home.earthlink.net/~cresho/start.htm sorry for the inconvenience. i purchased a targus leather case and stick it in there. it feels like a new device and now im not worried of it falling apart. |
