Hi,
I have wwwoffle running on my WinXP box and would like to access it from my Z (C3100). I have a connection and all up and running, I can ping the Z from WinXP and use ssh. So the WinXP->Z direction is ok. But I cannot ping WinXP (I have the basic tcp services installed and ping 127.0.0.1 works). I have the firewall disabled. The winxp has the static IP 192.168.129.10, the Z has 192.168.129.201. Is there a way to determine what is going wrong here? It might be that I deinstalled something on the WinXP side that is needed now. (I'm not sure if this info is of any use but IntelliSync always fails with some kind of communication gone wrong error -- but this currently isn't important right now.) Cheers, Thomas. |

Ok, this was a firewall-related problem (WinXP FW not understanding the meaning of disabled).
