For some reason any modifications I make to my personal info in the address book app are not saved. So I am trying to find the file that it is saved in so I can delete it and start fresh. It doesn't seem to be in the dtm directory, does anyone know ehere it is and what it is called?

Isn't it usually part of the addressbook's dtm files (Applications/dtm)? I know that the info is accessed through the sharp addressbook and that if the sharp pims are not installed, you don't get the owner's info prompt at startup.

you could have just renamed it or moved it somewhere else.

dang, i guess no one knows
EDIT: never mind, I found it. EDIT AGAIN: Dang, it didn't solve my problem. Only my work info is saved. If I go into edit and add my home address and emails and stuff they are not saved! This is on cacko. Anyone know what the problem is? Actually, it is doing it to everything. Once I open up an address entry and then save changes by clicking "OK" all the home address part of the info is gone as well as the middle name. |

Very strange.
I have no experience with that software but I would recommend uninstalling the software, removing any DOT config files/dir's that it left behind and then reinstall it. I might try installing from a different IPK file too. |

I finally figured it out. Something goes funny with AddressBook.cnf and AddressSet.cnf in the Settings directory when I change the zaurus to a japanese locale. I deleted those two files and allowed addressbook to recreate them. Everything was fixed after that.
