I would like to get a GPS enabled phone that I can use as a GPS receiver for my Zaurus.
Does anyone know of any GPS phones that will allow NMEA protocol to be used by the Zaurus over bluetooth? |

QUOTE(zeigerpuppy @ Sep 2 2007, 02:21 PM) I would like to get a GPS enabled phone that I can use as a GPS receiver for my Zaurus. Does anyone know of any GPS phones that will allow NMEA protocol to be used by the Zaurus over bluetooth? that's an interesting question. I would imagine no, because the smart phones are generally geared up to be a stand-alone solution. I would guess you could write your own symbian app to do it, but I have no idea where to start! you can probably get a tomtom Go to act as a bluetooth seeing as you can roll your own GO applications - it runs linux, after all! |
