Could you not change X11's color depth down?

You're probably using KDrive, which would not use a config file by default, IIRC. I'm not sure how to change it in that case.

You are right I think I have Kdrive, and I found in the X file(/etc/X11) that the X server is started with exec/opt/kdrive/Xfbdev-screen 480x640 @ 270 "$ @" and with documentation i thought it is possible to change the settings of Xfbde -screen option> Widthxheight [xdepth [xfreq]] [@ rotation]
But: I don't know if it works? If so what is the value in xdepth for have grayscale? Otherwise, how can I change Kdrive to have a standard X11 if It is possible. PS: Thank you for your answers. |

Otherwise, how can I change Kdrive to have a standard X11 if It is possible. http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=25433 xf86-input-tslib (xserver-xorg-input-tslib) is in Debian new queue now. Once the ftp-master upload it, it will be in Debian official archive. Armel binary will be delayed a while. Once the armel binary is available, you can use everything Debian official (except kernel and kernel modules) in Zaurus. |
