Av700 File Size Limit?

I am using CloneDVDMobile to encode films on my PC and copy them to my AV700. All works well, except that one film is rather long and has a file size of 2.21GB. When I copy it over (AV700 as HDisk), it is unreadable. Is there a way round this? Can I copy film to Memstick and plug that straight into the AV700?

Av700 Hd Crash

I was downloading stuff from my PC, disconnected the cable after correctly "dismounting" the drive, and the HD became unreadable and I have been forced to re-format, wiping off everything before I had a chance to back it all up.

Is there somewhere where I can download all the original files and programs which came with it to restore it to "out of the box" condition?

Recording Dvd Films To Acrhos 700

I am trying to load my Archos 700 with my DVD collection. I have noticed trying to record straight into it with leads is okay, but every now and again there is a distortion as the file is being read from the HD. So I want to encode my films on a PC first then copy across. I have managed to convert some stuff from DVD as an .avi file using the Xvid codec but I'm now suffering from image artifacts which ruins the image. Is there a sure-fire way of squirting my films into my Archos without any distortions or whatever?
