Hi all,

my C1k is running EABi on 2.6.22.9-yonggun. Tried to setup the irda-stuff. So installed irda and irda-utils.
Now, when am doing
CODE
irattach /dev/ttySx (x=0,...,2)

it gives in /var/log/messages:
CODE
Jan  4 22:53:43 Zaurus irattach: Stopping device /dev/ttyS2
Jan  4 22:53:43 Zaurus irattach: ioctl(SIOCGIFFLAGS): No such device
Jan  4 22:53:43 Zaurus irattach: exiting ...

But in /var/log/dmesg are theses devices:
CODE
pxa2xx-uart.0: ttyS0 at MMIO 0x40100000 (irq = 22) is a FFUART
pxa2xx-uart.1: ttyS1 at MMIO 0x40200000 (irq = 21) is a BTUART
pxa2xx-uart.2: ttyS2 at MMIO 0x40700000 (irq = 20) is a STUART

and ls -l /dev/ttyS*
CODE
crw-rw-rw- 1 root dialout 4, 64 Jan  4 20:44 /dev/ttyS0
crw-rw-rw- 1 root dialout 4, 65 Jan  4 20:44 /dev/ttyS1
crw-rw-rw- 1 root dialout 4, 66 Jan  4 20:44 /dev/ttyS2

So, where am i missing the point unsure.gif ?

Hi,

spent my weekend with Debian EABI and fluxbox:

Best of all: fluxbox is working for non-root users, too.
Will post howto on tuesday. Stay tuned! rolleyes.gif

Hi,

having problems getting my spectrum24 cf wlan card working.

dmesg says:

pccard: PCMCIA card inserted into slot 0
pcmcia: registering new device pcmcia0.0
orinoco 0.15 (David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au>, Pavel Roskin <proski@gnu.org>, et al)
spectrum_cs 0.15 (Pavel Roskin <proski@gnu.org>, David Gibson <hermes@gibson.dropbear.id.au>, et al)
pcmcia: request for exclusive IRQ could not be fulfilled.
pcmcia: the driver needs updating to supported shared IRQ lines.
spectrum_cs: Cannot find firmware: symbol_sp24t_prim_fw
spectrum_cs: Firmware download failed
hermes @ c4820000: Timeout waiting for card to reset (reg=0x0000)!
eth0: failed to initialize firmware (err = -110)
spectrum_cs: register_netdev() failed

Never had to deal with firmware on wlan-cards before, so please, what's the problem here?

P.S.: Found that thread: http://www.oesf.org/forum/index.php?showtopic=25209&hl= , but there is no network.opts on my system, not in /etc/pcmcia nor anywhere else.
P.S.S: There is no symbol_sp24t_prim_fw on my system, maybe that's the problem.
