I have a WLI2-CF-S11 network card I'd like to have working with kismet. This card requires the orinoco_cs driver. I understand this driver requires a patch to use RFMON. When I use the patched driver and try "iwpriv eth0", there is no ioctl shown for *monitor" mode. Kismet also claims it cannot put the NIC into monitor mode.
Does anyone know if this card supports monitor (RFMON) mode ? I understand I will need this for use with kismet. Any ideas would be most welcone. OSS542

There appears to be a syntax error in the linker macro
(/usr/lib/libc.so) at line 4 which must be commented out in order for the macro to work. /* GNU ld script Use the shared library, but some functions are only in the static library, so try that secondarily. */ <--- comment this out /* *** BUG in libc/scripts/output-format.sed *** elf32-bigarm,elf32-littlearm */ GROUP ( /lib/libc.so.6 /usr/lib/libc_nonshared.a )

It seems that on the Zaurus SL-C700, a user log out from the "desktop"
display must be done with the display in the portrait orientation or the "desktop" will be upside-down for landscape orientation after the next login. I am using the GPE frontend on the SL-C700 with the OpenZaurus 3.5.2 distribution. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. J. Hart |
