Hi all,

Just taking the opportunity to join this forum to share back after learning so much from you.
Long story short, I needed a way to flash my gemini from my Mac, so here you'll find a small project helping you to just do that:

Feel free to submit PR for improvements.

That seems like rather a lot of stuff to install and keep around, just to run every few months…  (Personally, I'll stick with Debian on a flash drive; it's a pain rebooting into that to run the flash tool, but it doesn't need anything installed in macOS or on my SSD.)

But I'm glad you found something that works for you!  It never hurts to have options.

It is alternatively also possible through a Virtualbox setup, you just have to add the gemini as a USB device as the gemini is booting rather than adding it after it is already turned on:
I managed with a virtual Windows, but I think nothing should prevent using virtual linux:

I would probably have tried out your script had I not already made myself familiar with the virtual box, and I think your approach will especially be useful for those who dont want to use all that much RAM and diskspace for a virtual machine.
