Compiling On Intel Vs. Arm Options

Hello,

if I have C source codes of programs which compile well on an Intel-based machine (186 processor) under MS-DOS, are there any issues in general compiling them on the Zaurus with zgcc? (Provided that all libraries are available of course)

I don't try but ask because before I try I had to port some libraries, and I don't want to port them if it'll not be successful due to some other problems.
