Hoy !

Since our first tries to use Debian EABI on our machines, we have done lots of work and many things now work. That's good ! smile.gif

But it could be even better: we often are missing source code, so that we are more or less dependant of the guy who has released his working stuff.

I'm very grateful over these guy, but the thing is, if something is broken or missing, we just have to wait for him to repair/add it...

The other solution is to build everything from scratsh again, but you know as well as me that it is a hard useless work !

Maybe you're wondering about what i want to say in short terms biggrin.gif
That's it:

Could you share not only binaries or complete stuff (kernel, rootfs...). ut the sources and steps you made in order to permit us to complete your work ?

I mean, 5o20, we haven't your 2.6.22.9 kernel config file, nor build dir, ... Let's remember the problem with the missing tkip module. We were dependant on you. And your tkip module, you send to us a couple of days after, doesn't work :/

I think you don't have this build dir anymore, but your next kernels don't run on akita :/

This is not a reproach, but a reflexion in order to be more efficient. If anybody could get any source from a cool work of one of our best haxors like cortez, 5o20, zdevil..., i think we would get a better and better distro on our Z smile.gif

Cortez, your 2.6.23 kernel, patched for android is working on my C1000. Well, it is booting biggrin.gif I hope this'll get ride of mouse jumping, that i suffer from with 5o20's 2.6.22 smile.gif

But i didn't find the sources, patches, etc... ? are they anywhere ?

If needed, i can open an http/sftp account in order to share files...

hey !

i got e17 packages compiled for debian eabi (sid) suing edevelop's debian source packages and dpkg-build.
it works very well on debian armel under qemu (using poky's kernel for qemu) but it keeps stuck on "starting fm => fm2" on my Z (splashscreen, and nothing more than the splash's background after some time...)

i straced startx, but there's no error at at the moment that fm2 is starting... and enlightenment process still consume all cpu time...

have you got an idea of how to resolve this problem ?

if you wanna try (maybe it works on a c3(1|2)00 ?), packages are there: http://perso.zecrazytux.net/debs/

i'm very disappointed because it took lots of my time :-(

hey all smile.gif

i'm trying last angstrom unstable image but i got a painfull problem:

the screen calibration sucks. the cursor is'nt on the middle of the screen when the pen is... i must move the pen to the left to make the cursor go upper...
etc

i tried to remove /etc/pointercal and to remake it, but thats the same.

can you give me good values for pointercal for a c1000 ? or another advice ?

thanks wink.gif
