Sharp Zaurus SL-C1000

I'm selling a lightly used, pampered Sharp Zaurus SL-C1000. All original packaging, users manuals, CD, etc. are included (all in flawless condition). The screen has absolutely NO DEAD PIXELS.

The Zaurus is still under warranty - if there is a problem, you can ship it back to PriceJapan.com and they will forward it on to Sharp Japan for servicing.
Currently the Zaurus has the pdaXrom on it. If you want me to return the Zaurus to its original condition with the standard Sharp ROM with English conversion, I can switch it back before I ship it out.

Now for the goodies smile.gif

Accessories Included for sale: (1) Sharp EA-70S AC Adapter (there was some discussion on the zaurususergroup.org forums about whether the standard AC adaptor made for use in Japan was safe to use in the U.S., so I bought the U.S. adapter to be safe. (2) Corsair 1GB Secure Digital Card. (3) Symbol wireless compact flash card (works right out of the box with several different ROMs and has the lowest profile of any wifi card used with the Zaurus. (4) Kennsington USB mini mouse and USB host connector (so you can navigate the Zaurus with a mouse through its USB host functionality. (5) WriteShields screen protector has protected the absolutely stunning screen since I took it out of the box for the first time.

I attached a photograph of the Zaurus running pdaXrom and all of the accessories below.

I will only ship to the U.S. That means I will not send it to Nigeria or some other South African country, nor will I accept Western Union Money Orders. Please do yourself a favor by not inquiring about whether I will ship abroad.

You can e-mail me at wmadan@sbcglobal.net.

Does the new Cacko ROM support USB host capability (mouse, keyboard) out of the box in both the full and lite versions?

When booting up, I see the mouse "+" sign, but when I plug in my USB mouse, it doesn't work. Is there a script to run or anything else I must do to enable my mouse?

Just flashed the full Cacko ROM on my C1K. It is fabulous.

Thanks to everyone who worked on this!

I am running the standard Sharp ROM on my C1000 with the usb-mouse-pointer .1 installed. When I run Textmaker and attempt to navigate the menus with my usb mouse, the screen doesn't redraw correctly and the menu items appear garbled and disjointed. As far as I can tell, this is the only program I use that doesn't behave well with the usb mouse.

The mouse works within TexMaker o.k. I can highlight text, click on toolbar buttons, etc. The mouse is a little slow, but other than that it is fine.

Is this an issue for anyone and can you point me to a fix?

Thanks for your time,
Bill

I'm running rc11 on my C1000 and attempted to install and run Dosbox from the new feed. It installs fine, but segfaults when I try to run it.

Don't know if this is a bug or not, but can someone point me in the right direction?

Thanks,
Bill
