For Sale / Wanted / 3100 And 3200 For Sale

I've got a SLC3100 and a SLC3200 for sale.  Both are in really good condition.  The 3200 has a minor crack on one corner.  Both have minor wear on the plastics from rubbing in a case.  I just flashed the tri-soft images on them so they are pretty much stock now.  I just don't use them enough any more.

The 3100 comes with a ambicom wifi cf card that I modified to use an external antenna.  I used this zaurus to track down rogue access points in my previous job.  Somehow in my move I lost the original power adapter for it, so I'm replacing it with an iPaq power brick.  They're identical voltage, I've used it for a couple years at work to charge my Z.  Still has the original box and manuals.  It's also has a screen protector on it's whole life.

The 3200 comes with a planex cf wifi card, no modifications to this one.  Also has an extra unopened battery.  This guy has a minor crack on the corner, but it doesn't affect the use.  There isn't a screen protector on, so there's some minor swirls from cleaning, so minor I can't get a picture of it.  Still have the original box, manuals for this guy as well.

$300 for each, or $500 for both, plus whatever it will cost to ship them.

For Sale / Wanted / C3100 For Sale

I just don't use it enough anymore.  Got it off ebay in perfect condition.  Screen has had a protector it's entire life.  It currently has one made for a Dell Axim 51v, that doesn't quite cover the whole screen, but it does cover the active part.  There are no scratches on the soft buttons.  Outer case has a couple scratches, but nothing serious.  I'm throwing in my modified Ambicom wifi card.  I've added a rp-sma connector to it.  Gets much better reception.  Will ship with the latest Cacko rom, which is in my opinion the most stable rom.  Ships FedEx to US and Canada.  $400 firm.  Oh, still have the box manuals and cds.

So I installed the one from elsi.  I had it on my 6000, but it really doesn't like my 3100.  Does anybody know of a program that is close to this one that works on the clamshell models??

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / Rfmon?

Okay, still trying to find that "perfect" for me rom..  Using OZ 3.5.4.1-rc2, with an AmbiCom WL1100C wifi card.  I can't get the thing into monitor mode.  Any ideas??  Works in Cacko, and stock Sharp.  I'm sure it's just a module thing, but don't quite know where to look.

So how does one actually compile software for the Zaurus??  I've not been able to find a guide anywhere that works.  I found one that uses dsl for the host os, but it pukes about half way into loading the qtopia stuff.  Any way to actually do this on the Z??  I'm currently using the Cacko os on my 3100.  Seems to have the most usable features for me at the moment.  I'd like to use OpenZ but having to reconfigure the wifi every time I change locations is a pain.

For Sale / Wanted / For Sale: Slightly Modified Sl-6000

Well I think I'm going to give up on handheld linux.      So I want to sell my Z.  It's in pretty descent shape.  Has had a screen protector on it's whole life.  There is some wear on the screen bezel from rubbing on the hard screen cover.  Everything on it works, the wireless range works much better than normal, due to my mod.  It won't work with a sled now though.  The mod is reversable, and I can do it if the buyer wishes.  I still have the box, dock, cd and manual as well.  I'll also throw in the pouch I use for it.  $400 or best offer.  North American contenent only.

6000 - Tosa / I Have A Dilemma.

Okay, the Z is cool and all, but I really don't like the Sharp rom.  Unfortunetly it is the only rom that lets me switch between wireless networks easily.  This and last week I've used it a grand total of 3 times.  PDAX is cool looking, but sometimes the windows really lagg out and then there's the wireless thing.  Then there's OpenZaurus, but it has the wireless problems as well.  Guylhem's was working pretty well, but the last version has the same wireless problem.  I feel like it's in this funny limbo area, between a pda and a full computer.  It does most everything I would use a laptop for, with a quarter the screen size three quarters the power and a tenth of the storage space.  Then it sorta does what I used to use my iPaq for, only slower to start up, no sync support for my computers, half the ram, but a much nicer screen.  So now I don't know if I should sell it, if I even can, with all I've done to it, or keep waiting till someone eventually figures out the wifi thing, if ever.  I'm not even sure how important that is to the devs....
