Yes, they are available.  Sorry for the late reply.  I was away for the holidays.
I would be very glad to get these almost new devices into the hands of a person who will put them to use.

Lightly used, Cacko installed on the SL-C750, others stock O/S.  SL-6000 sled and extra battery, larger battery expansion back for the SL-C750.
Package deal, $150.00 for all, plus you pay shipping charges.
These are all in great shape and I want them to go to someone who appreciates and uses them.

Don't try this - the kernel is not for the c7xx zaurii, as they do not have the sound chip.

Would it be possible/reasonable then to make these changes and build a kernel for the PXA255 with the wm8731 chip?  Or would the chip be unable to support it?

Is there any reason this new kernel and mixer app cannot be installed directly on pdaXrom beta1(currently running 2.4.18)?
I have a c-750 and am having trouble running Meanie's pdaxii update script.

While running install-fixbeta3.sh on my c750 w/beta1 and 15.1Mb free on /, I'm getting "out of space on device" error about half way through the install(/mnt/cf/custom> install-fixbeta3.sh / upgrade).  Partition has been resized to 57 during  install of beta1.
Any suggestions on how to complete the installation?

Thnx, Gorth

Coding, patching "styles" and arbitrary, inflexible constraints on submission and application procedures, or even asking questions suffocates creativity IMHO.  It also facilitates dictatorial pronouncements by those who create such self-serving constraints.
Economies of scale are not gained, but rather a significant population of motivated, creative contributors is disenfranchised.
It is antithematic to the open-source concept and stifiling to the emergence of creative solutions to erect gateways and filtering procedures that do not accept innovation contributions that fail only on presentation protocol.
It's the ideas that count.  Development efforts should be flexible enough to recognize superior ideas and find a way to accept them based on their merit.
[I apologize if this is off-topic or presented in the wrong forum, but it needs to be said somewhere]

Guylhem Rom / 1.0rc3 Released

I still see a prob w/sd mount, even after changing out the init.d/sd script.  Boot messages post the SD service starting, the correct module is loaded, but the filesystem is still not mounted correctly.  Directories do not display, even though mount -l shows it mounted ext2.  The only way I have found to mount the sd successfully is to issue the command identified by orodriguez from the command line as root.

look at /usr/local/bin/net.wifi scripts.  modprobe p80211, prism2_usb, then  usbctl on 1.  Now you will have device wlan0.

What I see on the sd mount problem is that sd formatted ext2 mounts as vfat to /mnt/card on guylhem rom.  The same sd mounts correctly as ext2 on pdaxrom.  Oddly when back to guylhem rom I issued "umount /mnt/card" (attempting to remount  with -type ext2) the shell replied "Invalid argument".

Guylhem -
This is great.  I downloaded and installed without a problem.  Only difficulty is connection icon does not show up for built-in wireless.  I added WLAN config, but no way to use it.  In the previous version, the connection dialogue would pop-up when I brought up Opera.  That doesn't happen now, so I don't know how to activate the link.

Thanks for all the great work.

Guylhem Rom / 6000 Dm Menu Won't See Cf Card

"The new .dbk for the latest version is ready and currently running on my Z :-) If you can wait until sunday when I can upload it"

This is great news.  Not to disparage other efforts, but I think guylhem's rom is the best all around for sl-6000.  It's the perfect blend of an efficient, utilitarian interface with sophisticated and well-designed technical underpinnings.  The current version is very stable, touchscreen independent... and I can't wait to try out the new one.  Thanks guylhem!

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Pdaxrom Rc11 For Pxa Devices

"I think it would be really useful if it could be fixed, because it does the ROM no favours at all."
For the sl-6000 especially this is a critical issue.  With the clamshell, the workaround is to set the time, exit to console and suspend using the power button.  Since power button suspend does not work on the 6000, there is no way to live with X that I have discovered.  The inability to keep the time set and resume from a suspend in X has forced me to temporarily abandon pdaxrom on the sl-6000.
Has anyone come up with a work-around or solution?
