I received my gemini last wednesday. I ordered the swiss keyboard layout. There appear to be a tiny problem with the keys on that keyboard layout: there are 2 keys with e grave (È). The one under “L” should be e acute (É).

Do both keys produce the same 'character' on the screen though?

Of course not. What is printed on the key has no relation to what is programmed in the keyboard driver.

I don't quite follow you there... when I press a key I expect to see the character printed on that key appear on the screen, regardless of anything else!

In this case, could the key possibly have been 'printed' incorrectly, for example?

Yes, that is exactly what happened. The key is printed incorrectly. Everything else is correct (and if it was not could be corrected by a software update). For the key print, the only solution is to exchange the key cap, which I believe will happen later this year. I reported the problem to planet computers.

@jerome & @montala

Hello,
i`m sure Planet knew about this problem, they informed me over phone call about this, a few days before my Gemini was shipped.
Maybe i have to thank you @jerome for letting them know. biggrin.gif
I'don't think it is a problem at least for me it isn't. But i really apppreciate that they informed me.
