The Gemini will not function on the Verizon Wireless network, because it is not on their approved device list. Only manufacturers can add devices to this list, so if you want to use your gemini on the Verizon Wireless network, contact Planet Computers LTD and ask that they work with Verizon to make this happen.

I just went through the process of booting Sailfish OS for the first time -- Selected locale, language, set up wifi, created jolla account, accepted terms. All seemed to go swimmingly. However, now I'm left with a rotating teal ring, and things do not seem to be progressing. Any ideas as to what is currently happening?

Thank you,

I did a full dist-upgrade, which succeeded, but appears to have broken X. Unfortunately, I lost the log of a working X.

Looks like PC updated their support page, and added new firmware files. For linux users, it also looks like we'll be soon able to multi-boot android, Debian, and Sailfish on the same device. There are new versions of the linux flavors too, and updated flash tool. There soon will be an updated partition tool which in addition to creating scatter files, also selects the appropriate linux system files to match. Unfortunately, the partition tool link when selected gets you a page saying "coming soon". So close!

Good stuff, PC!

[update: looks like the link's been fixed]

I'm trying to get my Gemini into Engineer Mode --when I enter the code into the dialer, I get a pop-up that says: "EM is an advanced debug mode. if you want to entry the EM,please entry the Developer options at settings!" [sic]. Any suggestions?
