Only a little thing....
i see that the emulator is not at full speed for certain games: for example i play "pacmania" or "blades of steel" and the screen is slowly repainted...

is there a way to quick the emulator on C3100 ?

the rc files are in the....

"do not look at this unless you expirience key rotation problem or want sdl zports installed.zip"

in this zip file within the zip file you downloaded, it tells you how to fix your key rotation problem.  If you are not very good with command lines or cannot install these files within the home directory, then I recommend you install....


uninstall

libSDL_1.2.6-zports-5_arm.ipk

and install

libsdl_1.2.5-slzaurus20050410_arm.ipk

Most people screw up by installing these two files.  It is either one or the other.  libsdl_1.2.5-slzaurus20050410_arm.ipk is installed if you dont want to go through the hassle of installing anything else.  libSDL_1.2.6-zports-5_arm.ipk is installed if you want to also play games from http://lgames.sourceforge.net/ but you must also modify some files to get the key rotation right.

I left this option available and very customizable for anybody and for any sharprom or clone or modifed. or what ever.

Let me know if this helped.  It's not a problem...you did something wrong.

yes there is a way.  you most likely installed the wrong ipk. or the rc files or did not modify needed files.

list the ipk files you installed first. even old sdl libraries you have installed.  Then list any file modified or directories created to suposedly fix the rotation problem.

then we go from there.

thanks cresho i'vbe installed your [a href=\"http://webpages.charter.net/cresho/turbo-nes-snes.zip]http://webpages.charter.net/cresho/turbo-nes-snes.zip[/url] package unzip it and follow the readme for cacko rom..... and installed the ipk in your package..... i do not find the rc files so what is wrong ?

thanks cresho !!! i've installed on my C3100 with cacko 1.23 and all works well... there is only a strange thing : the keypad is inverted

if i push  UP the player go DOWN and vice-versa
if i push left the player go right and vice-versa

is there a way to sove this  on C3100 ?

thank you very much for your help but how can i set up a magnified session on my c3100 running last cacko rom . i try to see if qconsole has a magnified option but it has not !.

I've put all the files in a directory but when i start handy_sdl romimage my zaurus hangs....so i think problem is the resolution at 480x640....

i try to execute handy_sdl <game_rom> but my zaurus freeze...
Any helps How can i use handy_sdl ?  where can i put the boot rom ?

Sharp ROMs / Sending Files Via Bluetooth

I just sent a vcard via obextool push (my phone doesn't support ftp) to my phone

obextool -i hci0 push addressbook.vcf
I got the bt address and channel from sdptool browse.  This shows the target's (phone) bluetooth infromation.  hci0 is the interface of the zaurus's (at least for me) bluetooth card.

infact from command line it works....
from the GUI no !
